advocacy Day3

Mental Health America of South Carolina has a long history of advocacy in the state.  Grassroot volunteers and staff have for more than 60 years worked tirelessly on behalf of those that suffer from mental illness.  From the early days of letter writing campaigns intended to flood elected representative’s offices with mail to more recent efforts of media days on the Capitol steps, MHASC forges on, continuously striving for better mental health treatment, expanded services with easier access and more funding.
